transformed results write up

would it be possible for us to see an example of an APA results section where the data was transformed? or is it just a matter of just indicating that the results were transformed and discussing the numbers in transformed units?

It is just a matter of noting that the data were transformed. Typically, you'd see something like, "To correct mild positive skew, a square root transformation was used on [variable name]."

Interpreting the results when you have transformed your data is mostly tricky when you are looking at inverse transformations (where you have to remember that the direction of association has been flipped). That is, typically you don't write direct interpretations of the actual betas, saying that one square root unit change in X resulted in beta change in Y. (You haven't read too many journal articles that do that, have you?)
